About  Us

Homespun Events was created out of pure love of creating things. I had been making centerpieces, desserts and cards and gifts for years as well as decorating family parties. When I lost my job the summer of 2015, I decided I needed some source of income. And doing something you love to make money is definitely not a chore. I love coming up with new ideas to run past the client. I enjoy working with clients no matter how involved they are. I live for the artistic license of making a unique banner or sign, or coming up with a centerpiece that can be difficult such as nonbreakable centerpieces for a 1 year olds birthday party. The challenges and rewards for hardwork are what makes this job so worthwhile. I hope that I will be able to do this job for years to come.

About Nicole Escobar

I went to school for Creative Writing where I got my Bachelor of Arts and a minor in Fine Arts. I spent my time at school interning at a non-profit helping pull together their events from the bottom up. After leaving my last job I decided to go back to what I was good at, coordinating and decorating events. I am currently getting a certificate in Event and Wedding Planning from QC Event School which I will hopefully finish up by 2016.
